Making the Unseen Visible
BeingHuman
Constellation Work™
A Living Architecture of the
Human Being
BeingHuman Constellation Work™ developed by Dr. Solihin Thom and Alicia Thom, is an experiential human-development approach that uses symbolic imagery, spatial relationships, reflective inquiry, embodied awareness, and—when appropriate—human participants to create a living representation of the concern being explored.
What may have felt confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to articulate can become more visible, allowing new perspectives, resources, and possibilities to emerge.

A Living Map of Your Experience
The process begins by identifying a personal, relational, or professional concern and clarifying what you would like to understand or develop.
Through images, objects, spatial placement, or human representatives, we create a living map of the experience. This can help bring attention to relationships, patterns, resources, and influences that may not have been readily visible through conversation alone.
The constellation does not define absolute truth or tell you who you are. It creates an experiential field for observation, reflection, discernment, healing and development.

How the Process Unfolds
Clarify the focus
We begin by identifying the challenge, recurring pattern, relationship, or area of development you would like to explore.
Create the representation
Relevant aspects of the concern are represented through symbolic imagery, objects, spatial placement, or—when appropriate—human participants.
Observe what emerges
Together, we notice the relationships, distances, orientations, sensations, emotions, words, movements, and other forms of feedback that arise within the constellation.
Explore patterns and resources
Through thoughtful inquiry and gentle movement or rearrangement, we explore the patterns that may need attention, along with the qualities, strengths, and resources that may support meaningful change.
Integrate the awareness
We reflect on what has emerged and consider how these insights may inform your health and well-being, relationships, personal development, professional practice, or leadership.
What You May Experience
The constellation process may support meaningful shifts in how you understand and relate to physical, mental, emotional, relational, or professional patterns. You may experience greater clarity, lightness, inner quiet, connection, and a deeper sense of wholeness and well-being.
Although the constellation unfolds in the present moment, its insights may continue to reveal themselves over time as they are more fully understood, embodied, and integrated into your life.

A Developmental Application of the Work
Within The Caduceus & Heart Development Journey, constellation work is used not only to explore a difficulty, but also to examine the inner qualities and capacities connected with transformation.
The Caduceus represents qualities and virtues that support human development. The heart is understood as an instrument through which our capacity for love develops.
Together, they provide a framework for exploring what may be interfering with development, what is seeking to become more available, organized, and embodied, and the possibilities for resolution that may unfold from within the person.

Foundations & Reference Context
Faith, Symbols, and Discernment
For those who want to understand the foundations of the work...
BeingHuman Constellation Work™ draws upon several established streams of thought and practice that explore how human beings understand experience through symbol, image, relationship, embodiment, and meaning.
Psychology & Symbolic Representation
The therapeutic use of images, symbols, objects, and visual prompts has a long history across psychotherapy, expressive arts therapies, psychodrama, sandplay, and other experiential approaches. Within analytical psychology, Carl Jung gave particular attention to symbols, dreams, myths, and archetypal patterns as ways of exploring dimensions of human experience that may not be readily accessible through ordinary conscious thought.
Embodied & Experiential Approaches
Modern psychology and psychotherapy also recognize that meaningful information can emerge through bodily awareness, emotion, spatial relationships, interpersonal interaction, and experiential processes—not solely through verbal or intellectual analysis. BeingHuman Constellation Work™ uses symbolic imagery, iconography, spatial placement, and, when appropriate, human participants to create an experiential representation of the issue being explored—engaging spatial and kinesthetic intelligence alongside cognitive and emotional awareness.
Christian & Biblical Context
Christian theology presents creation as purposeful and ordered, while affirming the distinctive dignity of humanity as created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26–27). Scripture itself makes extensive use of symbols, metaphors, parables, dreams, physical objects, and visible actions to communicate spiritual realities. Christian writers such as C.S. Lewis likewise demonstrated how story, metaphor, and symbolic imagination can illuminate profound theological and human truths.
For Christians participating in this work, symbols and images need not be understood as possessing spiritual power in themselves. Rather, they may serve as reflective tools that help bring attention to relationships, perceptions, emotions, patterns, and questions requiring discernment. Prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit is incorporated according to the participant’s faith, with all insight ultimately held with humility and tested through prayer, Scripture, wisdom, and personal discernment.
BeingHuman Constellation Work™ is therefore best understood as an experiential and reflective process, not divination, fortune-telling, or a means of assigning supernatural authority to cards, symbols, or objects.
BeingHuman Constellation Work™ is an educational and human-development process. It does not diagnose or treat medical or mental-health conditions and is not a substitute for care provided by a qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.
